Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Mexico Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the Travel and Local category on Android in Mexico. Below, we delve into the performance trends of the top 5 apps: Airbnb, Volaris, Find my Phone - Family Locator, Google Earth, and ADO Boletos de Autobús.

Airbnb exhibited a strong performance in Q4 2021. Weekly downloads peaked at around 55.6K in early November, showing a generally upward trend throughout the quarter. Active users also saw a consistent rise, starting from approximately 218K at the end of September and reaching close to 293K by the end of December.

Google Earth maintained stable download numbers, starting at around 21.5K and ending the quarter at approximately 22.5K. Active users saw a slight decline from about 188K in late September to 184K by the end of December.

ADO Boletos de Autobús showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from about 7.8K and rising to nearly 22.4K by the end of December. Active users grew significantly as well, from around 33.6K at the start of the quarter to nearly 59.4K by the end.
